Number 37 is in the Books....

The 2011 edition of the Fiddler's is officially past tense now.  The Mercier Ranch was rocking and swaying over the weekeend  and a great time was had by all!

One Week Out!...........

Well the time is just about here!  The weather has warmed and the hay has been cut. Time to put the fishing boat away for a week and get ready for Fiddlers 2011!

Preparation week is just about here and CP and I look forward to seeing Tom, Rollie, Buff Bob, Dick, Herb and Penny & Izzy......our faithful slave crew.. as this year's picnic comes to life. 


We look forward to seeing all of you fiddles, pickers, and spectators as well!

It's Never Too Early............ To Think About Summer Fun!

It may be a bit soon to be jammin' in the yard as it tends to be a bit brisk in Livingston, MT this time of year.  Summer will be here before you know it and it's time to mark your calenders for the 36th annual Montana Fiddler's Picnic!

This summer's event will take place August 5 -7, 2011 at the Mercier Ranch  at the mouth of the beautiful Paradise Valley south of Livingston, MT. 

The format will be the same as in past years with plenty of room for jammin', camping, and socializin'!  We are planning to eliminate the use of the large tents for jamming areas.  Our experience over the last few years have taught us they just don't do well in the Livingston thunderstorms which are a reality during the summer months.

Our plan is to replace the tents with more permanent and weather-appropriate shelters. Hopefully this will be done by this summer.  Stay tuned!
